· April 9th, 9am- 3pm AND 5pm- 8pm – MAEOE Office
· April 15th, 9am- 3pm – MAEOE Office
· April 16th, 9am- 3pm – Robinson Nature Center
Please consider signing up for one or more review sessions. If you can attend for part of any of these dates, it will help us to get through all of the applications.

Maryland Green Schools Program Overview
Can you please tell me the final date is for the green school application to be submitted? Thank you.
The 2015 Green School Applications are due April 6 at 9:00am
I was wondering if it would be possible for you to send me an email stating what the qualifications are for becoming a green school. I am preparing a report for a class at the University of Maryland discussing sustainability within elementary schools.

Hi Natalie, You can find the answer to your question on our website http://www.maeoe.org on the Green Schools page. The 2014/15 Guidelines provides the format and examples. If you have any more questions please let me know.

How long does the award last?
The award lasts 4 years. The different stages of the award are New School, 1st Recertification, 2nd Recertification and Sustainable School. Once you have reached the Sustainable School level there are no more required re-certifications.
